WXLLSPACE is your turnkey partner. We coordinate site logistics, including lift rentals and access scheduling. We also collect and verify all COIs (Certificates of Insurance) so you can focus entirely on the creative execution.
What if a developer changes the scope mid-project?
Our Seven-Phase Workflow is designed to prevent "scope creep." If a material change occurs, we act as your advocate, documenting the shift and adjusting the budget or timeline via a formal amendment before you proceed with the work.
Who handles the contract - me or WXLLSPACE?
We handle the heavy lifting. WXLLSPACE provides a standardized Artist Agreement and handles the Owner Agreement with the developer. This ensures you are legally protected and that terms like VARA compliance and usage rights are clearly defined.
Does WXLLSPACE take a commission?
We operate on a transparent service model. Our fee is factored into the total project budget based on the artists fee, covering the costs of project management, insurance coordination, and the technology that connects you to high-budget opportunities. Artists receive 100% of their quoted artist fee.
How and when do I get paid?
We provide a structured, reliable payment schedule to protect your cash flow. Our standard milestone breakdown is: 20% at Design Start, 50% at Project Kick-off (Mobilization), and the remaining 30% upon Completion Sign-off.
Can I set my own rates?
While we use a proprietary PP/SQFT model to help developers budget, we champion our artists. You have the autonomy to submit proposals that reflect your value, materials, and complexity. Our goal is to ensure a fair, value-based selection that respects your craft.
How do I get selected for projects?
Selection happens through our Discovery phase. Developers look for artists whose style aligns with their property’s vision. To increase your chances: ensure your Artist Landing Page is complete with high-res images of past large-scale public art projects, a compelling bio, and up-to-date location preferences.
